Due to the significant growth in PamFax revenue we are able to lower the standard “Pay As You Go” by 17%. This means the page price has dropped from €0,17 to €0,14 per page. Our callerID-notification tool TapiRex was updated to version 1.7.1. This update improves the communication between the server and the clients and the reverse lookup for contacts.

Yesterday we released a server update and this time the local PamFax application is updated too. The application is available as download from www.pamfax.biz and will be made automatic for all users as soon as Skype release the new build to the Extras Gallery.

We released a new server update and this time also an update for the local PamFax Extra application (available in Skype under Tools, Do More).
The highlights of the update are:

Redesigned first page in PamFax application for easier start.
Resend fax option added to portal. This is nice as it allows you to resend failed faxes easily.

The new build (.49) addresses not only some minor issues but more interestingly has a new recommend to a friend option. This is a function where, after you sent your fax, you can easily have PamFax send a Skype chat to your friends and once five people start using PamFax we will add a cash [...]

We are adding full localisation of country names to PamFax which makes it easier for your to select the country code when sending a fax.

With the next server release we will be adding the localisations and a check where PamFax will show a dialog in case you have entered a country code that differs from [...]

In our quest to further improve PamFax we have made a big step forward. A new server build went live which addresses the following things.

We are coming up to 25.000 PamFax users now and have made some decisions how to further improve the platform. In the past 9 months we have seen some issues we don’t like and which impact performance and/or system flexibility. Users have also been providing excellent and valuable feedback.

We just received our new servers:

3 Servers are Dell 1950 with Quad Core Intel CPUs with 4GB Ram and 160GB Raid. 2 of them will be added to the PamFax backend so that we expect PamFax to be more stable and faster then. We hope to have them in position in a few days.
