Say hello to our newest Team member: Florian. He will work as a developer in our german office, helping us to build applications and websites in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, Ajax, …
Welcome aboard
We are looking for a new team member in our development-office in Ebstorf, Germany. If you are a software developer with experience in development of web-applications (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and perhaps did some development in C#, and you looking for a new chance to work in a highly motivated team in a young company, you might take a look at the job description.
Need more info? Feel free to contact us.
We just received our new servers:
3 Servers are Dell 1950 with Quad Core Intel CPUs with 4GB Ram and 160GB Raid. 2 of them will be added to the PamFax backend so that we expect PamFax to be more stable and faster then. We hope to have them in position in a few days.
The 3rd Dell server will stay here in the office for development and testing of our web applications.
As we run out of storage in the office, we also ordered a new fileserver. It’s a server from ico.de. A Dual Core Intel with 1GB Ram, 2x160GB Hard drives for the system as Raid and then 2TB SATA hard drives for the data.
Yeah; toys for the boys
Amazon Payments will soon be available to PamFax users in USA as alternative to Sype Credit.
Amazon Payments is a simple payment system that uses your Amazon account to pay for the fax. So if you don’t have any Skype Credit but still want to send a fax, we have an alternative for you. The cool thing about it is, is that you just pay for the fax you send so no upfront payments, no subscriptions, no additional cost, no registration.
We don’t have an exact timeframe, but it will not be long. As you see from the screenshot below we’re already pretty much finished with the integration. Stay tuned!
PamConsult has been approved by Skype as “Skype Approved Integrator”, in short SAI. More information on the Skyppe website: https://developer.skype.com/SAI

PamConsult was founded beginning 2006, long before SAI came to life. We saw that Skype would attract more and more users and that that would result in more add-on applications. Many of these are looking for a reliable partner that helps them with their Skype application. This is that PamConsult focusses on providing.
SAI is a perfect program for us which validates the reasons why we started PamConsult in the first place. We are very honored to be among the first SAI partners worldwide.
One of the projects we worked on the last days and weeks is a complete redesign of the forums at problems-solution.com. Now it’s live in the new design with enhanced features and a nice portal page that gives more information to the visitor than just a forums list.
The owner of this forum hired us for this project as he liked our other websites. Here you can see two screenshots of the forums before and after we had our hands on it:

I am just coming back from Prague, where PamFax was announced as the winner of the Skype Mashup Competition 2007!
This competition honored the best mashup of Skype’s API with other API(s). The Mashup Cup was presented to Dick and me by Paul Amery and Sten Tamkivi of Skype at Skype’s Developer and Beta Tester event last night in Prague. Read the complete announcement from Skype. Photos of the event will follow.
We are very proud to win this competition after being awarded as “Most innovative buyer’s applicatuion 2005″ by eBay Germany and getting the “eBay Star Developer Award 2006” from eBay USA.
Thanks for this honor and all the congratulations.
