More PamFax features available!

We released a new server update and this time also an update for the local PamFax Extra application (available in Skype under Tools, Do More).

The highlights of the update are:

  1. Redesigned first page in PamFax application for easier start.
  2. Resend fax option added to portal. This is nice as it allows you to resend failed faxes easily.
  3. Added more conversion server power.
  4. If a document can not be converted to PDF due to issues in the document, there is now a gracious refund process.
  5. Fixed a Vista UAC issue when Skype is started by PamFax after installing PamFax.

Besides the above we also did the normal set of minor bug fixing and improvements here and there.

Your PamFax application will be auto-updated once Skype have released the new version to the Skype Extras Gallery.

Very soon we will be posting about another cool new function we will be adding. This time it will be about integration of PamFax in Facebook, Salesforce.com and in the Vista SideBar. Stay tuned!

Pamfax is most impressive and it is good to see the add-ons rising.
One that I would like to see is a return fax via my Skype Virtual Phone number.
Any hope of this?

Thanks for the Kudos. Please see the other post where we announced PamFax integration for Facebook and Salesforce.com.

Regarding fax-in, this is a big priority. We talked to Skype and they are not able to help us with connecting Skype numbers to PamFax. So we will offer our own number schema which will result in the same -> a virtual fax-in number connected to your PamFax account.
