We have just updated PamFax to version 1.0.39.26. From now on, you will be able to pay for your fax with Amazon Payments. Amazon Payments allow you to use your saved payment method you usually use on Amazon.com for payment of PamFax faxes. No additional fees will be added: i.e. if you have to pay € 0.17 for a fax, only these € 0.17 will be charged on your credit card.
ATM, this service is only available to users in the USA. This is a limitation in Amazon Payments. They are going to expand this to more countries in the near future.

We just received our new servers:

3 Servers are Dell 1950 with Quad Core Intel CPUs with 4GB Ram and 160GB Raid. 2 of them will be added to the PamFax backend so that we expect PamFax to be more stable and faster then. We hope to have them in position in a few days.
The 3rd Dell server will stay here in the office for development and testing of our web applications.
As we run out of storage in the office, we also ordered a new fileserver. It’s a server from ico.de. A Dual Core Intel with 1GB Ram, 2x160GB Hard drives for the system as Raid and then 2TB SATA hard drives for the data.
Yeah; toys for the boys

Amazon Payments will soon be available to PamFax users in USA as alternative to Sype Credit.
Amazon Payments is a simple payment system that uses your Amazon account to pay for the fax. So if you don’t have any Skype Credit but still want to send a fax, we have an alternative for you. The cool thing about it is, is that you just pay for the fax you send so no upfront payments, no subscriptions, no additional cost, no registration.
We don’t have an exact timeframe, but it will not be long. As you see from the screenshot below we’re already pretty much finished with the integration. Stay tuned!
